It should be understood that Digital Cable and Satellite are identical in both picture and sound quality. Cable TV and Satellite use the same technology in the reception of their services.

2. CRTV monitors the cable system 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and has a local team that responds to emergency outages. With satellite there is no guarantee that service is available.

3. Over 35 FM Radio services are available with Basic Cable at no extra cost.

4. Additional televisions can be connected to Basic Cable at no extra monthly cost. This allows others to view or listen to alternative programming. (A service fee is payable for hooking up or activating new outlets)

5. CRTV is a nonprofit Association and is locally owned. Employees of CRTV live in our community.

6. Basic Cable rates in Campbell River are the lowest in Canada.

7. Local Origination of Community Programming on Channels 10, 30, 31 & 35 are available only on cable.
